Job Description:

We are seeking an accounts payable professional interested in learning and becoming a team player within a rapidly growing company. The Accounts Payable Specialist for Motili will occupy a role within the company’s accounting department. The position reports to the Controller.

The Accounts Payable Specialist is a full-time hourly position with full benefits, including:

Role Overview
  • Entering bills from vendors through our accounting system (Infor ERP)
  • Reconcile bills against work orders in the Motili Platform and researches discrepancies
  • Maintain and report Accounts Payable
  • Prepare weekly agings for check and ACH runs
  • Cut checks and prepare ACH file
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities
Job Requirements
  • 1-3 Years’ experience in an accounts payable role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • High attention to detail and organization skills are essential
  • Experience within manufacturing or service organizations a plus
  • Experience utilizing a cloud base accounting system a plus
  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting preferred

Main Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for maintaining a high level for customer satisfaction through a daily focus on operations. You and your team will satisfy customers by responding promptly and professionally to their questions, managing their needs, working with Account Managers to understand specific concerns and ensuring that Motili delivers services successfully and within our defined service level agreements.

Activities

Your primary focus is to work with team members to make sure Motili meets service level agreements for its customers. On a daily basis, the Team Leader is expected to:

  • Act as a Motili champion, championing Motili products and services as well as being a champion and advocate for its customers, ensuring they are satisfied
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and proactively lead team members to accomplish goals
  • Work within the established tools, platforms and processes that Motili defines to support the operations of the business
  • Work with customers over email, chat (instant message) and phone to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Work with the team to manage exception cases
  • Escalate exceptions that require additional support
  • Manage and report on customer satisfaction metrics as defined by Motili
  • Become a subject matter expert in Motili’s products and service offerings
  • Understand the various functions that affect delivery
  • Be available for coverage when there are gaps in staffing or increased volumes experienced
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to Motili Product Management about changes to products and services that could improve customer satisfaction

You will satisfy customers by responding promptly and professionally to their questions, managing their needs and ensuring that Motili delivers services successfully to our customers.

Your primary focus is to ensure that service requests flow through our platform and that Motili delivers service within our customer service level agreements. On a daily basis, you are expected to:

  • Enter new jobs into our platform for our clients
  • Call customers or contractors when we need them to complete an action on a job
  • Work with customers over email, chat and phone
  • Document interactions with contractors and customers in the platform
  • Prompt escalation of unresolvable delays to the Team Leader
  • Be available for coverage when there are gaps in staffing or increased volumes experienced.

These activities are critical to ensuring the customer experience starts off on the right foot. The Operations Specialists diligent focus on these areas of support ensures that customer satisfaction.

General Purpose of Job:

Provide operational support for contract jobs from beginning to end, while ensuring compliance to client requirements.

Skills & Requirements:
  • Highly motivated individual who consistently meets individual and team goals
  • Strong Communication skills are required; there is daily phone and email correspondence with client and contractors
  • Ability to organize, manage projects, and multitask is required; may need to juggle items and restructure tasks around new and urgent priorities
  • Flexible schedule preferred
  • Industry experience in HVAC preferred
  • Experience in Project Management preferred
Skills & Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of modern web development techniques and object oriented programming
  • Back-end or full-stack experience: NodeJS, Loopback, Postgres, Mongo
  • Front-end: ES6, React, Angular
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira are desirable
  • Experience with testing tools, task runners like gulp or grunt, package managers like npm or bower, and other dev tools is a plus
  • Knowing your way around Azure, AWS, or another distributed infrastructure provider wouldn't hurt
  • iOS/mobile experience is not required (but would be the icing on the cake!)
